Twelfth Night

So I've been extremly busy these past few days! Yesterday was my birthday and it was pretty great. I had an academic competition in the morning, then went to eat out with my family at Olive Garden and then shopping at Forever 21! I bought a dress, two skirts, and two belts. Then I stayed up until 11:26 (well, actually later) because that's the exact time I was born. So I jumped on my bed, then talked to my boyfriend on the phone for about 30 min.
Backing up, Thursday and Friday were when we performed Twelfth Night! We did the best we had ever done, as it should be. You can see my costume in the photos above (I'm with my daddy in the second one). Our directors got each of us yellow stockings as a gift. We're wearing them Monday along with our cast shirt which I'll post pictures of hopefully tomorrow!
I'm officially 14!

A-Punk

I'm in love with this outfit! I really like the neutral clothing pieces with bright accesories. Check out the bangle! It might just be one of my favorite bracelets. Anyway, the spiky hair is pretty cool and I should probably do it again sometime. I'm going bowling later, which should be fun. Oh, and yesterday I went to a chill party and we watched Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World which is different but really cool. Have a great week, lovelies!

Loose

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in so long! I've been really busy lately. So I found some adorable harem pants and my parents are getting them for me for my birthday! (Which is Saturday the 26th, by the way).
I love this outfit because it's comfy and just feels pretty! My directors for Twelfth Night are complete idiots because my suit was just a teeny bit tight so they decided to order me a bigger one, size 20. Now, my main focus is on not letting my pants fall down while I'm onstage!

Crisp Play

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've been having rehearsals everyday after school for Twelfth Night. My costume came in though! It's a gray suit and gray hat. It's all fancy and hopefully I'll get some pictures soon.
This is the outfit I wore Sunday, for church and then dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant! I always end up feeling really preppy when I wear collared shirts and blazers!

Snow In Texas

Yesterday morning, my dad wakes me up and tells me to go look at the snow, smiling. I run out of bed, open my curtains, and look outside. Everything is covered in snow. I couldn't believe my eyes, honestly. I have lived in Texas for almost 8 years and it has never snowed. I put on my most winter-y clothes and run out to go play with my siblings! It was honestly one of the best days of my life. Plus we didn't go to school!

Pink Pop

This is the outfit I wore Monday. I had originally planned to wear the dress without the jacket but it was a bit chilly. My mother told me to wear leggings (the dress is short) but I didn't listen and ended up being uncomfortable. Mother really does know best!

I'm currently in my school's production of Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. If you've seen She's the Man, it's based on Twelfth Night. I will be playing Sebastian which I have mixed feelings about. Our play is going to be set in the 20's so I'll be wearing a pin-strip suit and this lovely gray fedora! Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures!
